Ophelia (Haynes) Wilkerson, 89, of East End went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 5, 2007. She owned and operated Neighborhood Flower Shop for many years and was a member of East Union Missionary Baptist Church. She was a lifelong resident of East End community and had been active in many church and community affairs.
She was the widow of Houston Wilkerson and is survived by her son, Richard Wilkerson and his wife, Rosanne, of East End; daughter, Deborah Winston and husband, W.A., of Sheridan; three sisters, Jean Reynolds, Erma True Wright and Peggy Harris; brother, Robert Haynes; four grandchildren and spouses, Speedy (Kelly) Wilkerson, Holly (David) Todd, Andrea (Bill) Hale and Brent Winston; and six great grandchildren, Austin, Bailey and Bryce Wilkerson, Grant and Abby Todd, and Jillian Hale. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday at East Union Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery.
