Oneta Thomas Coward age 82 of Arkadelphia died Saturday, March 28, 2009 in Louisiana. She was born October 16, 1926 in Bismarck the daughter of Patrick Henry and Ola Mae Loy Thomas. She was a member of the Faith Missionary Baptist Church and the widow of Rev. James Coward.
Survivors include three brothers, Arlie Thomas of Jacksonville, Mendrel Thomas of Bismarck, and Kenneth Thomas of Arkadelphia, four sisters, Ozee Margie Thomas and Athalee Myers both of Campti, LA, Loraine Walker of Hot Springs and Trecia Mae Herron of Arkadelphia.
Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Tuesday in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel in Arkadelphia. Burial will be in the Bismarck Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
