Oneta Carter

Oneta Keeton Carter age 83 of Bismarck, passed away May 11, 2019 in Hot Springs Arkansas. Oneta was born June 9, 1935 to the late Ezra and Vera (Wood) Keeton in Bismarck, Arkansas. Oneta, was a professional seamstress, who also loved to crochet blankets for her friends and family. She was a member of DeRoche Missionary Baptist Church.

Oneta, is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Shelton L. “Pete” Carter Sr.

Oneta is survived by her four children; Jimmy (Dianne) Huff of Claremore, OK, Brenda Caudle of Wisconsin, Shelton L. (Pam) Carter Jr., and Percy (Vicki) Carter both of Bismarck; numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren; three brothers, Hancel (Katie) Keeton of Sherwood, Bill (Pat) Keeton and Wayne (Ann) Keeton both of Bismarck; her wonderful church family and her loving companion “Bo”

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 14th at Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m.  Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, May 15th at DeRoche Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Chris Morrison officiating with interment to follow at the DeRoche Cemetery.
