Ola Mae "Jane" Wilson age 91 passed away May 18, 2012. She was born February 3, 1921 at Amity, AR the daughter of Izzie and Annie Caruthers Hancock. Ola Mae was a beautician until her retirement. She moved to Village Creek Apartments ten years ago and was blessed with many friends and attended Faith Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, James Royce Rooks and Gerald Lee Rooks, three brothers, Winfred, Harold "Bud", and Doyle Hancock.
Survivors include one son, Wayne Rooks of Tyler, TX, several grandchildren and great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:30 Tuesday in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel with Pastor John Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Alpine Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:30 PM till service time at the funeral home.
