Odis L. Joslin of Morrilton died peacefully, at home on Saturday, July 18, 2015 just 10 days shy of his 95th birthday. He was born on West Mountain near Bee Branch Arkansas on July 28, 1920, one of five children of Robert D and Eddie Moore Joslin. He grew up in Faulkner County in the Enola and Conway areas, joining the CCC in the late 1930s. He served in the US Army Air Corps in WWII and work for the VA for 30 years before retiring in the early 1970s. He was predeceased by his parents, his wife of 71 years, Bobbie Shumate Joslin, a brother Arlen Joslin of Kansas City, Missouri, a brother, Jess Joslin of Conway, a sister, Dorothy Kincaide of California. He is survived by a son, Robert L Joslin (Pam) of Little Italy, a brother, William Joslin of Little Rock, a nephew T.O. Joslin (Sharon) of Redfield, and a nephew Rick Joslin of Little Rock. A visitation will be held at Griffin-Leggett Funeral Home at 1751 Dave Ward Drive in Conway on Thursday,July 23rd from 5pm to 7pm. Graveside Services will be at Edgewood Memorial Park in North Little Rock on Friday, July 24 at 10 AM. The family wishes to thank Arkansas Hospice and the wonderful, caring nurse who made his final days comfortable.
