Odessa M. Ables, 84, of North Little Rock, passed away May 20, 2016. She was born in Humphrey, AR on September 27, 1931 to Robert Newton and Mamie (Chaney) McGinity. She was a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons; Ronald Ables of Paron, Barry Ables of North Little Rock; five grandchildren, Jeremy Ables (Sarah) and Jason Ables (Amy) of North Little Rock, Amanda Ables and Selina Smith of Arkadelphia, Cabe Slade of Johnson City, TN; six great-grandchildren, Carter, Margo, Travon, Hudson, Ella and Aerith; sisters, Henerietta Hoffman of Charlotte, NC, and Geraldine Roach of Longview, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, V. O. Ables.
Visitation will be held an hour prior to services on Tuesday, May 24th at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Rose City, funeral services will start at 12:00 noon. Burial will be at Frazier Cemetery in Alcorn, AR.
