Odell Stricklin

Odell Stricklin, 83, of North Little Rock passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014. He was a retired United States Marine with a Purple Heart and 2 Bronze Stars. He was of the Catholic faith, worked construction, was a Past State Commander of VFW, a 32nd Degree Mason and enjoyed gardening.
He is survived by his son, Ryan Stricklin; daughter, Eileen Stevens; two stepdaughters, Sandy Hudspeth and Janice Porter; four brothers, Earnest Stricklin, Jr., Samuel H. Stricklin, Tommy M. Stricklin and John D. (Helen) Stricklin; two sisters, Mary Smith (Cleborne) and Anna Marie Lemmings; twelve grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Lelar Nichols Stricklin; wife, Jeanette Strickland Stricklin; four brothers and two sisters.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial with full military honors will be in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
