Norman Waldo

Norman Robert Waldo went to be with the Lord January 1, 2017. He was born May 12, 1939 in DeWitt, AR to the late Robert and Mamie Waldo. Norman retired from Hollis & Co. Industrial Supply Warehouse in Little Rock. He was a partner alongside his longtime friend, Bill Riddling, at Mr. K Foods in Mayflower, AR.

Norman is survived by his wife of 56 years, Helen Combs Waldo, children, Cheri Rolett and husband Dan; Scot Waldo and his wife Michelle; grandchildren: Kassia Sherrill and husband Steven, Darek DeLeon and his wife Kassey, Victoria and Daniel Wilson; great-grandchildren, Hunter and Taylor Sherrill, Allister, Mellory DeLeon and Paul Farmer; brothers Darrell and Doug Waldo; and a host of extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Louise Waldo Swanson, Lonnie Waldo and Elbert Waldo.

Pastor Brian Dollard with First Assembly of God in North Little Rock, Arkansas will be the officiant.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Smith Sherwood Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park. The family has requested that the visitation scheduled for January 6, 2017 has been cancelled due to inclement weather.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Arkansas Alzheimer's Association, 204 Executive Court, Suite 301, Little Rock, AR 72205 .
