Norman O. Post, 83, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2010. He worked for Arkansas State Highway Department for 18 years, was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Rose City and a member of American Legion VFW 2935.
He is survived by his niece and nephew, Linda Minko, of California and David Post, of Florida; step son, Tim Langley; step daughters, Martha Steele, Lois Dobson, all of North Little Rock, Betty Hollenberger, of Jacksonville and Barbara Nutz, of England. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Post; two step daughters, Mary Carpenter and Geneva Beck; and parents, Oscar I. and Ida Houser Post.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be make to Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, Department of Arkansas, 4210 East Kiehl Avenue, Sherwood, Arkansas 72120
Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m., Monday at Calvary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
