Norman McPherson

James Norman “Poppy” McPherson (age 70) of Grady, Arkansas passed away on December 19, 2021, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Memorial service will be held at First Baptist Little Rock on Tuesday December 21, 2021, at 2:00pm.  Visitation will follow.

Norman was born in Grady to Vernon and Irene (Bitely) McPherson on July 24, 1951.  Norman was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon McPherson and Irene Bitely McPherson.  He is survived by his wife Karen Hankins McPherson, his brother Bryan(Lou Ann) McPherson, his children Brent (Lexie) McPherson, Scarlett (Don) Martin, Amanda (Steven) Devlin, Steve (Karlin) Walmsley, and Kevin (Cheyenne) McPherson, eleven grandchildren, and countless others that he has loved like family.

In lieu of flowers, Norman requests donations be made to Immerse Arkansas, a charity that was dear to his heart.
