Norman Ladd

Norman Ladd, 75, of Sherwood passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2009. Norman was born in Bald Knob, Arkansas. He and his beautiful wife Lita were married for 53 years. He and Lita took care of their dependent son, David in the home and with the help of North Hills Adult Services. Norman was a member of the John Deere tractor two-cylinder club. He was an alderman and on the sewer commission for the city of Sherwood for many years. He loved his dog, 12 year old Jake. He will be missed for his quick wit and big heart.
He is survived by his wife, Lita Ladd; sons, David Ladd, of Sherwood and Jeff Ladd and wife, Alice, of Malvern; daughter, Donna Linker and husband, Mark, of Springdale; grandson, Joel Linker, of Conway; granddaughter, Brittnee Linker, of Rogers; and his sister, JoAnn Walters and husband, Bob, of Searcy. He was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Ladd.

Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 A.M., Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will be in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
