Norman Gills
Norman Wayne Gills, age 62 of Jacksonville, TX died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2007 in Jacksonville Hospital. He was born September 17, 1944 in Gurdon, AR the son of the late Woodson and Dessie Norman Gills.
He was a pipeline construction worker and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy Dale and Wendal Gills and two nieces.
Survivors include one daughter, Melissa Gills Bontrager and husband, Tracy of Lakeland, FL; two brothers, Kenneth Gills and wife, Sally of Arkadelphia, Billy Gills and wife, Loretta of Mountain Home, AR; three sisters, Gloria Berndobler and husband, John of Winter Garden, FL, Annette Milloway and husband, Bill of Arkadelphia, Glenda Sue Earnest and husband, Walter of Star City, AR; three grandchildren, Ashlee,and Audree Hopper and Tucker Bontrager of Lakeland, FL; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, January 21, 2007 at South Fork Baptist Church with Rev. Ed Anderson officiating. Interment will be in the South Fork Cemetery under the direction of Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home.
