Norma M. Ellerd Taylor, 68, left this life September 24, 2015. She was born September 30, 1946 in Benton, Arkansas to the late John and Agnes Laing Ellerd.
Norma had a love of teaching Sunday School for over thirty years. She was a member of Christ is the Answer Fellowship. She had many hobbies-name it and she would try it. Norma retired from Saline Memorial Hospital after forty-one years of service.
Preceding her in death are her husband of forty-three years, Gary Taylor; son, Tim Taylor; parents; and brother James Middlebrooks.
Left to cherish her memories are son, Gary Todd Taylor and wife Carmen of Benton; two daughters, Tammy Justice and husband Andrew of Paron and Kelly Epperson and husband Jesse of Benton; three grandchildren, Dallas and Morgan Justice, and Sophie Taylor; two brothers, Will Middlebrooks of Benton and Marvin Middlebrooks and wife Lois of Fort Worth, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and many relatives and friends who loved Norma and will miss her always.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 - 4:00 P.M., Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St., Benton, Arkansas 72015. Funeral service, officiated by Bro. Jeff Harrison and Bro. Lloyd Reece, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, September 28, 2015 at Smith-Benton Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Fowler Cemetery in Paron, Arkansas assisted by Dallas Justice, Jason Gibson, Greg Middlebrooks, Allen Middlebrooks, Scott Epperson, and Tony Garrin.
