Norma Glover

Norma Sledge Glover, 78, of Pine Bluff, went home to be with the Lord on November 1, 2010. Born in Morrilton, Arkansas to Carlos and Eula Mealer Sledge, she was a realtor and a member of Watson Chapel Baptist Church.
Norma grew up in Ft. Smith and Morrilton, and attended Harding University and Draughn's Business School. Throughout her life, she worked at the Pine Bluff Arsenal, 34th Street School and Glover Realty, but her real love was being a wife, mother and grandmother. Her sacrificial love was one of her greatest attributes. The influence she had on her family's lives had great impact. Norma's love for Christ was the center point of her life.
Preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Elkana Glover, son-in-law, Bo Warren and grandson, Clay Warren, she is survived by her son, Phil Glover (Michele) of Little Rock; daughters, Jan Sutterfield (Ken) of Maumelle and Vicki Warren of Cabot; grandchildren, Ragan Sutterfield, Spencer Sutterfield (April), Jessica Warren-Wheeler (James), Jennifer Edwards (Derek), Amanda Glover and Haley Glover; and great-grandchildren, Peyton and Cruz Wheeler and Clem Sutterfield. Also surviving are her brothers, David Sledge (Pauline) of Little Rock and Bob Sledge (Lynne) of Sonora, California, and her sister, Carlene Guthier (Tom) of Statesville, North Carolina.
Visitation will be held Thursday evening, November 4 from 5-7 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Services, 1621 S. Cherry St. in Pine Bluff. The service will be on Friday, November 5 at 10:00 a.m. at Watson Chapel Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Todd Howard. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Pine Bluff.
