Norma Bolding

Norma Jean Bolding, 84, of Beebe, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord May 19, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph W. Bolding, Jr., a daughter, Carla Jean Bolding; a granddaughter, Julie Ann Bolding; siblings JoAnn Bolding, Alice Weir, James Brown and Lloyd Edward Rogers.

She is survived by a daughter, Beverly Ward (Lavon) of Beebe, a son Wesley Bolding (the late Charlotte) of Bald Knob, a daughter Deanna Safley (the late Gary) of Beebe; her grandchildren, Michael Ward of Cabot, Steve Ward (Dawn) of Searcy, Adam Bolding (Angela) of Bald Knob, Samantha Porter (Justin) of Searcy, Zachary Safley and Caleb Safley of Beebe; her great-grandchildren Kayleigh Ward, Ambrynne Ward, Anna Porter and Lydia Porter; and many nieces and nephews and family.

Norma Jean was born June 24, 1929 to Allen and Myrtle Brown in Judsonia and spent most of her life in Judsonia before moving to Beebe. She was a nurse at White County Medical Center and a long-time member of the Beebe Church of Christ. She had been a resident at The Crossing at Riverside of Searcy. She enjoyed her many activities and friends. She adored life to the fullest with a happy smile and a good time.

The family wants to thank the staff at The Crossing at Riverside for the excellent care they gave our Mom.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 23, 2014 at Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements by Westbrook, a Smith Family Funeral Home.
