Nora V. "Skip" Powell, Jr., 68, passed away September 10, 2017. He was a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam and of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by a sister, Joyce Pryor of Chesapeake, Virginia; nieces, Rachel Pryor of Seattle, Washington, Bekki Wilson (Zac) of Olalla, Washington and Alysha Pryor of Dallas, Texas; great nephews, Jayden Wilson and Liam Jacob Wilson; and step-father, Lovie Brim of Arkadelphia. His parents, Nora V. Alfred Powell and Lois Bernice Pleasant Brim predeceased him.
Graveside services with Military Honors will be Friday, September 29 at 9:00 a.m. at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
