Nora Thrasher Johnson, 82, of North Little Rock went to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 10, 2012. She was a completely devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She believed her family was a gift from God and was always supportive and available for them in all things. She was loved by all who knew her.
She is survived by her only son, Kenny Thrasher, of North Little Rock; four grandchildren, Greg Thrasher, Becky Thrasher Harris, Aaron Douglas Thrasher and Jeremy Thrasher; two great-grandchildren, Bailey and Nathan Harris; three sisters and two brothers. She was preceded in death by the father of her son, Roscoe Thrasher and her late husband, Joe Johnson; and one brother, Tony Ramos.
She was a diligent and hard worker proudly serving 37 years as an inspector at Timex. With an unwavering faith in God, she bravely survived breast cancer, a brain tumor, and then battled Parkinson's for the past six years.
She will be greatly missed by all; however, she will continue to be a guiding light and a strong presence from this day forward.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 19 with the memorial service beginning at 2:00 p.m., in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and registry at www.nlrfh.com.
