Staff Sgt. Noah Higginbotham of Mayflower, AR formally from Carlisle, Kentucky departed this world unsuspectedly on Friday, October 20. 2023 at the age of 66. He was a devoted husband to wife Claudia C. (Garner); for over 20 years. Father to Amanda (Bobby) Higgs of Jacksonville, FL. Noah was a retired US Air Force member for over 20 years. He was a precious grandfather, loving brother, and exceptional friend. He was born to the late Ancil Thomas and Mandy (Perry) Higginbotham. As a young boy and a man he was quiet and laid back who loved life, his friends, family, and especially his pets, Frankie, Gus, and Spirit. He had two stepdaughters, Laronda Daugherty of Little Rock, AR and Angela Daugherty (Anthony Gordin) of Fayetteville, AR. He was a loving grandfather to Brandon Gomez and Jackson Higgs, Kyril Jones, Calleigh Jeffiers, Preslyn Bell, and Dalton Bacus, Rolly Bacus, and Gabby Bacus; loving brothers, Virgil Lee Higginbotham and Roscoe L (Deborah) Higginbotham of Carlisle, Kentucky; mother-in-law, Nellie Garner Kinnaird of Augusta, AR; sister-in-law, Sylvia Perry; Nancy Garner Hyatt (Phillip) of McCrory; Sarah Garner Crews of Hot Springs, Frances Garner Haverstick of Augusta, AR, Jeannie Garner Knight (Mike) Kennett of Missouri, Betty Garner of Augusta, AR. And Peggy Garner Whitledge (Jeff) of Cabot.
He is preceded in death by grandson, Zain Jones and twelve brothers and sisters, Clarence Higginbotham, Albert Higginbotham, Elizabeth Hicks, Addie Mae Perry, Herbert Higginbotham, James Luke Perry, Clifton Leroy Higginbotham, Carlos Higginbotham, Ryma Dean Frantz, Daisy Marie Herrington, Elsie Faye Lutes, Gola Jane Floyd; and two broth-in-laws, Claude P. Garner Jr., and Terry W. Crews.
He was a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews of which there are too many to count. His lifelong friends include, Damon Booth and Mike Hillock. He cared for numerous exceptional friends, Harry Roderick, Tony and Sandy Lucas, and Bruce and Lynn Thompson, and all those who crossed his path. He was kind, generous, courageous, devoted airman, that showed valor by saving a fellow servicemanâs life during flight, and a loving soul who loved will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew him.
A Military Service will be held Tuesday October 24, 2023 at 10:00 AM at the Rest Hill Memorial Park in North Little Rock, AR.
