Nina Thompson
Nina Louise (Carroll) Thompson, age 68 of Sherwood; passed away February 3, 2015 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born on July 1, 1946 in Benton, Arkansas; she was the daughter of Dale and Louise (Doan) Carroll.
Mrs. Thompson was a North Little Rock High School Graduate and a retiree of the Dillard's Corporation after 44 years of service. Nina was a faithful member of Gardner memorial United Methodist Church in North Little Rock where she sang soprano in the chancel choir and assisted in the Jubilee Sunday School Class, Progressive Fellowship as well as volunteered in the infant nursery.
She is preceded in death by her father Dale Carroll and her uncle Gordon Doan and wife Helen.
Survivors include her mother Louise Carroll of Sherwood and a host of cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church in North Little Rock with a visitation prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in the church fellowship hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church at 1723 Schaer Street, North Little Rock, Arkansas USA 72114.
