Nina Jean Goodman, 96, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2020, in Louisville, Kentucky, where she had lived the past seven years with her son and family. Nina was born November 13, 1923, in Pottsville, Arkansas, to the late James Ellet and Nellie Anna Howard. She was a retired office manager for Goodman Insurance Agency and a member of Levy Baptist Church.
Besides her parents, Nina is preceded in death by her husbands, Harry “Leon” Moseley and William “Scott” Goodman; her son, Randall Leon Moseley; two brothers, Conner and Benjamin Howard, and a sister, Uleta Bowden.
Survivors include her son, Timothy H. Moseley, Sr. (Nina), of Louisville, Kentucky; sister Nell Ann Deeter; six grandchildren, Randal Leon Moseley, Brandi Moseley-Wooten, Heidi Jane Stevens (Mike), Celia Star Chamberlin, Timothy H. Moseley, Jr., Jackson Francis-Scott Moseley; and two great grandchildren, Parker Wooten and Liam Chamberlin.
Nina Jean taught Sunday school for 35 years at Pike Avenue Baptist Church. In her 60’s, she was a member of The Calamity Belles Cheerleading Troupe, performing at nursing homes and churches. She loved to dance and enjoyed working as a community volunteer.
Visitation will be held from 10 AM to Noon on Saturday, February 8, 2020, at Levy Baptist Church, 3501 Pike Avenue, North Little Rock, Arkansas, 72118. Funeral service will be held at Noon at the Church, with burial following in Edgewood Memorial Park, North Little Rock, Arkansas.
