Nikki Powell
Nikki Rose Powell, 17, daughter of Charles "Rocky" and Kristi Powell of Little Rock, passed away March 11, 2009. She was born in San Luis Obispo, California on September 7, 1991. While living in California, she was a child actor and a cheerleader at Exeter High School. She worked hard and graduated early from Robinson High School in 2008 where she played softball. Nikki attended Pulaski Tech with an undeclared engineering major. She loved being outdoors, enjoying four-wheeling and horses, and earned a Junior Brown Belt in Karate.
Nikki is survived by her parents; sister, Cheri Anne Powell; paternal grandparents, Charles and Betty Powell of Three Rivers, California; maternal grandmother, AnaMaria Arguelles of Oxnard, California; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
There will be visitation on Monday, March 16 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), Little Rock. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 17 at the Mosaic Church of Central Arkansas,6420 Colonel Glenn, Little Rock, officiated by Pastor Amos Gray.
