Nicklaus C. Latting, age 27 of Benton, Arkansas was taken from this life on Saturday November 6, 2010. Nicklaus was born on September 19, 1983 in Benton. He loved playing basketball and played with the team at Holland Chapel Baptist Church. One of Nicklaus's greatest pleasures was spending time with his two year old daughter, Nickayleana Latting.
Survivors include his father, Charles Hill, of Benton; one daughter, Nickayleana Latting of Benton; 6 brothers, Robert Fonville of Pine Bluff, Curtis Combs and spouse, Heidi of Hot Springs, Charles Hill Jr. of Port Lavaca, TX, Christopher Hill of Little Rock, Stacy Wright and Jonthain Latting both of Benton; 3 sisters, Sarah Irondi and husband Jade of Desoto, TX, Loris Griffin and husband Billy Ray of Benton and Patricia Hill of Benton as well as numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Nicklaus was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Latting and 2 brothers, James and Wesley Hill.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Holland Chapel Baptist Church. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 19, 2010 from 6pm to 8 pm in the Peaceful Haven Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Benton, Arkansas.
The family has requested that friends and family make donations to Peaceful Haven Funeral Home to help with the funeral cost. For more information call 501-778-7100.
