Nichole Smith Collins

Nichole Smith Collins, 44, of Greenbrier, Arkansas, was called home to her Heavenly Father on July 29, 2022.  Nichole was born in Little Rock, Arkansas to John A Smith and the late Cindy Hassell Somervell on May 3, 1978.  

Nichole graduated from NLR High School in 1996 and after attending college, made a successful career as a Real Estate Agent. She worked with an amazing team at IRealty of Sherwood and left a lasting impression with anyone she met. Her bubbly personality, warming smile, and infectious laughter brought many everlasting friends into her orbit.  As a result of Nichole's innate charm, capacity for humor, and ever-present joy, people were simply drawn to her.  It was utterly impossible for Nichole not to make long lasting friendships wherever life took her.  

As Nichole grew up, the one thing she wanted to be was not a brain surgeon, lawyer, or accountant, but a Mama.  Nichole was the epitome of a strong southern Mama. In every conversation she had with her friends or family, her love for her kids, Cameron and Caden, would shine through. No matter what weather was in forecast, the three of them would take many trips throughout the year, which usually ended up being an outdoor adventure, such as camping or crystal hunting.

Nichole loved her kids to the moon and back, and her entire world revolved around those kids. She was very proud of them every second of every day.  Nichole will always be present in her children’s hearts and has guided them to be loving and responsible people.  She also had a great love for the family pets, their dog, Mae Mae and this cat, Socks. 

Nichole is preceded in death by her loving grandparents, Daniel Dayne Hassell Sr. and Margaret Katherine Morell Hassell, Uncle Lanny Wayne Hassell, Aunt Joy Hassell, cousin Lyle Hassell, and her Mama, Cindy Hassell Somervell. Nichole is survived by her loving children, Cameron and Caden Collins of Greenbrier, bonus father, Frank Byars Somervell of North Little Rock, AR, brother Nathan Smith of North Little Rock, AR, the children’s father, Ryan Collins (Valerie) of Conway, AR, Uncle Dr. Dayne Hassell Jr. (Kathy) of Shreveport, LA, Aunt Sue Hassell of Little Rock, AR, along with many cousins: Dr. Daniel Hassell of Greensboro, NC, Jess Hassell of Houston, TX, Luke Hassell of Dripping Springs, TX, Dayna Hassell Farquhar of Santa Rosa, CA, Kasey Astor of Hernando, MS, Sherry Somervell of Pennsylvania, Drew Somervell of Kansas City, MO, Taylor South of Pine Bluff, AR, Madelyn South of Pine Bluff, AR, and countless friends.

Visitation is 4:00 to 6:00 PM, followed by a Memorial Service at 6:00 PM, Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel.
