Nicholas Allen Fechuch, age 23, of Mount Ida, gained his angel wings on Tuesday, June 18, 2019. His passing was sudden and unexpected while on a family vacation in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Nicholas was born on November 12, 1995 in Hot Springs. At birth, he defeated the odds and spent his life with cerebral palsy, continually defeating those odds. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Norval Booth and his aunt, Dana Winter, who both are now holding him close. He and his loving family faced every challenge with tremendous strength and courage. He never showed any fear or tears. Nick had many great adventures during his time on this earth, but is now having his greatest adventure of all. Nicholas is survived by his mother, Rita Mitchell and his father, Mark Fechuch, both of Mount Ida; two brothers, Richard Wiederspan, Jr. and his wife, Lesley, of Texarkana and Evan Fechuch of Mount Ida; one sister, Cecilia Lewis and her husband, Stephen, of Mount Ida; his maternal grandmother, Fannie Booth of Mount Ida; two uncles, Lance Booth and Archie Booth, both of Mount Ida; five special nieces, who were his best buddies, Kadence and Lily Wiederspan, Ashtyn and Blakely Fechuch and Marie Lewis; his half-brother, Drew Fechuch and his half-sister, Madison Fechuch, both of Mount Ida. A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, June 24, 2019, in Faith Tabernacle in Mount Ida, with Bro. Len Fryar officiating.
