Nellie Joyce Mann Satterwhite went to be with her Lord and Savior June 17, 2019. She was born on October 28, 1934 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Nellie was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Nellie Mann; husband, Herman Elbert Satterwhite; and son, James Arthur Matthews.
Nellie was a long-standing member of Barnett Memorial Baptist Church where she often sang and played the piano. Her hobbies were singing, attending church, and loving her family who will miss her greatly.
She leaves behind four children: son, Robert Vernon Matthews; daughters-Jamie Balsam and husband Mark, Ellen Hammil and husband James, and Vicki Hill and husband Jonathon; brother, Frank Mann; sister, Carolyn Herbert; twelve loving grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 22, at Barnett Memorial Baptist Church, 5322 Willow Springs Road, Little Rock, Arkansas.
