Nell Kent
Nell Rose Payne Kent, 85, of Jacksonville passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2016. She was born August 27, 1930 in Bigelow, Arkansas to the late Dennis and Mildred Stacks Payne. She was retired from AT&T and was a member and former Sunday school teacher at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Michael Kent (Brenda); brother, Paul Payne; grandson, Jason Kent (Shannon); great-granddaughter, Savanna Kent; and her special friend, Brenda Frazier. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.C. Kent; son, Ronald Wayne Kent and her sisters, Betty Payne and Ann White.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Friday followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
