Nathaniel Lewis Gentry

Nathaniel Lewis Gentry, 21, of Bismarck, passed away on Sunday, June 11th, 2023. Nate, as he preferred to be called, was born on September 26, 2001 and was soon after adopted by Joey and Christie Lowe Gentry. After graduating from Bismarck High School in 2020, he entered the workforce specializing in food service where he enjoyed working with the public.

In his free time, Nate was passionate about studying Norse Mythology, forging and creating custom weaponry, LARPing, traveling, and spending time with his friends and family. One of his favorite pastimes was visiting his grandparents, where he loved teasing his Gram and making jabs at his Pop. Nate felt that kindness and friendship were the two most important things in life. He never shied away from an opportunity to help others and was a steadfast presence in the lives of those he cared about.

Nate was predeceased by his grandparents Edward and Pam Fryar Gentry, his uncle Jeremy Gentry, his great aunt Judy Fryar, and his great grandmother Geraldine Huggs Lowe.

He is survived by both of his parents, Joey and Christie  Lowe Gentry, his younger siblings Timothey, Scarlett (Sam Santiago), Gracelynn (Scott Davenport), Brynn, and CoraEllen Gentry, his niece Emery Santiago, and his nephew Treyce Davenport. He also leaves behind two of his favorite people, his grandparents Wayne and Vickie Thomas Lowe, as well as his aunts Sandy Lowe Livingston (Toney Livingston and children) and Heather Lowe Wright (Cheston Wright), along with many, many other friends and family members.

No services have been arranged at this time. Those wishing to honor Nate are encouraged to post their favorite memories and photos of Nate on his Facebook page for all to enjoy.
