Nathaniel Hill

Dr. Nathaniel (Nate) Dalton Hill, DDS, surrounded by family and friends, went to be with the Lord on Thursday October 28, following a courageous battle with cancer.  Nate was a loving father, husband, son, brother, and friend.  Nate was born on March 20, 1983 in Sarasota, FL where he grew up and developed a passion for golf, medicine, and the Gators.  Nate attended Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN and was a member of the golf team.  Following completion of his undergraduate degree, Nate moved to Memphis to attend the UT College of Dentistry.  While in Memphis, Nate met his self-described “soul-mate”, Jeni Hall.  Nate was a leader among his peers and was named the national Rising Star by the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry in 2012.  Nate and Jeni were married in the summer of 2010 in Pacific Grove, CA and eventually settled in Little Rock, AR, Jeni’s hometown.  In September 2014, Nate and Jeni welcomed a daughter, Olivia (Livi), and Nate took on the greatest role of his life, that of Livi’s Dada.  Nate, Jeni, and Livi built a beautiful life together with a myriad of family, friends and passions. Nate was a beloved member of the Pleasant Valley Country Club golf community, embraced his adopted home of Arkansas with a passion for duck hunting, and pursued his professional ambitions when he assumed leadership of his own dental practice in 2018 alongside Dr. John Cloud.  Nate was a man of great faith, convictions, and love.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends but will forever leave a legacy through his achievements, the greatest of which was love.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Tee of Central Arkansas or to Ballet Arkansas.  Nate’s family also encourages those that are able to donate blood in Nate’s honor.

Nate is preceded in death by his father, James Hill.  Nate is survived by his loving wife and daughter, Jeni and Livi Hill of Little Rock, AR, mother and step-father Sandra and Don McCreary of Sarasota, FL, brother and sister-in-law Colby and Casey Hill of Sarasota, FL, in-laws Bryan and Lauren Hall and Nick and Chelsea Hall of Little Rock, AR, nephews and nieces Tyler and Savannah Hill of Sarasota, FL and Catherine, Ava, and Grace Hall of Little Rock, AR.
