Nasser Khairi Filat

Nasser Khairi Filat, age 53, of Cabot, Arkansas, passed away on November 12, 2024. He was born on February 28, 1971, in Jacksonville, Arkansas.

Nasser is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years, Hanadi Alami-Filat, and their children: Reem Delgado-Marroquin (Brayan Delgado-Marroquin), Kary Filat, Layla Filat, and Jenna Filat. He is also survived by his father, Khairi I. Filat; his brother, Bassil K. Filat; his sister, Mannal K. Dajani (Jamal K. Dajani); as well as a large extended family of cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rihab S. Dajani-Filat.

Nasser was known as a loving father, husband, son, and brother. He found joy in the little things, particularly his sweets, with a special fondness for Diet Pepsi and Sweet Tarts. As a dedicated fan of the Cincinnati Bengals, he showed great enthusiasm for his team. He enjoyed playing basketball, especially the game of ‘horse.’ His generous spirit and caring nature touched everyone around him; he consistently prioritized others above himself.

His wife and children meant the world to him, and he made sure they were always proud of where they came from and raised into amazing people.
