Nannie Mize

Nannie Mae Jones Mize, 87, of Little Rock, has been reunited with her husband, Bill Mize, on August 6, 2015. Born in Nashville, Arkansas to John Columbus and Ethel Williams Jones, she was a member of the Eastern Star and Good Sam and ran Mize Merchandise on Baseline Road with her husband for four decades. She was a member of Landmark Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings, Lois Power, Ruth Ferguson, Florene Merrell, William Hugh, Gladys Quisenberry, Hollis Wright and Little J.C. Surviving are her sister, Gloria Johnson; and nieces and nephews, Dorothy Bowers (husband, Ed), John Prince, Bobby Power, Danny Power and Mary Ann Power. With her husband, Bill, she also had a stepson, John Mize, grandson, Jason Mize and great-grandson, Garrett who also survive her.

Visitation is Wednesday, August 12 from 5:30-7 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Friday, August 14 at 11:00 a.m. at Landmark Baptist Church, followed by burial in Landmark Cemetery.
