N. Bryan

Rev. N. C. Bryan, age 91, of Bismarck, died Tuesday, June 21, 2011 in Hot Springs. He was born April 4, 1920 in Bauxite, Arkansas, the son of the late Newton Carl and Cleady Helen Burton Bryan Sr.. N. C. was a retired school teacher, teaching in the Bismarck Public Schools for many years and a Southern Baptist minister, preaching at several churches throughout South Arkansas. He was a member of Bismarck First Baptist Church and a U. S. Air Force veteran of WW II.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marie Bryan; one sister, Helen Grisson; two brothers, Steve Bryan and Marvin Bryan.

Survivors include his wife, Maria Apon Bryan; one sister, Sylvia E. Davis of Benton, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, June 23rd at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia with Bro. Jeremy Greer and Bryan Davis officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 PM Thursday until service time. Memorials may be made to Bismarck First Baptist Church.
