Myrtle Wynne died suddenly on April 1, 2025 surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cynthia Kenzel Arnzen and Carl Taylor, her brother, Clay Taylor, nephew Kent Taylor and also by her adoring husband, Paul E. Wynne. She is survived by her companion of many years, Charles Edens, her children: Lester Watada and Teresa Watada, Toshi Watada, Debra Wynne Miller and Walter Miller, and Paul C. Wynne and Rebecca Wynne, nine grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by her nephews, Dennis Taylor, Michael Taylor and Timothy Taylor and their children and grandchildren.
Myrtle worked as a bookkeeper for Anchor Paint Manufacturing Company until she retired. She loved the water and spent time swimming, boating, fishing and hosting pool parties. She and Paul enjoyed going on cruises and camping. Myrtle enjoyed going to the casino with her best friends: Glenda Daulton and the late Joann Beck. In her later years, she loved traveling the country with Charlie in his motor coach.
We will receive family and friends from 5 to 6 pm on Friday, April 4, 2025 at Smith Sherwood Funeral Home, 7700 Highway 107, Sherwood, Arkansas with a memorial service following at 6:00 PM. A memorial Mass in her honor will be held in Maryland at a later date.
Interment will be private.
