Myrlene D. Wilkerson, 86, of North Little Rock, passed away February 19, 2010. Born November 4, 1923 to Delbert and Willie Winkle Helms, she was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in North Little Rock.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, James E. "Ed" Wilkerson; children, Renee Stephens (Bob) of Sherwood and Eddie Wilkerson (Cindy) of North Little Rock; and grandchildren, Michael Stephens, Kyle Stephens (Brandy) and Edward Wilkerson (Robyn). Preceding her in death were her parents and brother, Jeff Helms, Sr.
Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 3-5 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Monday, February 22 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Heath Clowers, followed by interment at Salem Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 5025 Lynch Dr., North Little Rock, AR 72117.
