Murray Draper, 70, of Sherwood passed away on July 25th after a courageous battle with cancer and Parkinson's disease. He was born June 29, 1944 in North Little Rock to Ralph and Odene Draper and he graduated from North Little Rock High School in 1962. For over 25 years, Murray was the owner and operator of The Gun Exchange in Little Rock, retiring in 1999. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and Past Master of Iron Springs Lodge. He enjoyed fishing and boating with family and friends.

Murray is survived by his beloved wife, E. Janice Draper; three children: Murray Draper Jr. and his wife Linda of Little Rock; Leah Draper Henline and her husband, Dave of Indianapolis, IN, and Paula Adams and her husband, Mark, of Cabot. He is also survived by his brother, Tom Draper and his wife Jackie of Little Rock, and his sister, Susie Draper Jones and her husband Cleve of Little Rock. Murray had six grandchildren: Pete and Lucy Draper of Little Rock, Courtney, Skylar and Whitney Hickey of Indianapolis, IN and Katie Stone of Cabot. He also had many nieces and nephews who were very dear to him.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 28th in the chapel of the North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street. Family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
