Murl McCorkle
Murl (Duke) Gann McCorkle, 85, of Maumelle passed away Monday, August 29, 2011. She was retired from Maybelline and A.M.F. Bicycle Manufacturing and a charter member of Rose City United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Robert McCorkle, of Maumelle; daughter, Judy Lecy, of Conway; son, James R. Gann (Renata), of North Little Rock; four brothers, Clyde Duke (Betty) of Austin, Guy Duke (MoraLu) of Ward, Rex Duke (Joyce) and Robert Duke, of Cabot; four grandchildren, Scott Gann (Robin), of Sherwood, Kevin Gann (Meredith) of Little Rock, Robin Young, of North Little Rock and Stacey Russo, of Conway; two sisters-in-law, Winnie Duke, of Jacksonville and Laura Duke, of Austin; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Jennie Duke; two brothers, Floyd and Fred Duke; sister, Elizabeth Plummer and sister-in-law, Jibby Duke.
Memorials may be made to Donor's Favorite Charity.
A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. A family visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m., until service time at the funeral home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
