Muriel Mildred Mahar (widow of Aorl) passed on to be with her Lord on Thursday, October 16th, at the age of 85 years. Muriel, daughter of Rev. Albert and Narcissus Woodall, was born May 16, 1923, only ten miles from her lifelong home of Natural Steps, the eleventh of twelve children. Muriel loved all of God?s creation, delighting in flowers and birds. She believed and trusted in the Bible as God?s guide for her life and her passing.
Muriel is survived by one sister, Addie Russell, as well as seven daughters and two sons: Pearl (Charles) West, Mary (Harry) Hatfield, Elizabeth Holland, Geneva (Vernon) Crow, Larry (Jean) Mahar, Sharon (Ted) Shaw, Martha (James) Guenther, Linda (Paul) Martin, and Wayne (Linda) Mahar. She was also blessed to have 26 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
Viewing hours at Natural Steps Baptist Church will begin at 10 AM on Monday, October 20th, and will be followed by a funeral service at 11 AM. Interment will be at Natural Steps Cemetery. The family requests that any memorial donations be sent to the Natural Steps Cemetery at 20311 Lake Vista Drive, Roland, Arkansas 72135.
