Muriel Ballard Kelley, 97, of Beebe, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 1, 2012. She was a dedicated Christian lady who loved her Lord, her family, her church family and her many friends very much. She was a member of Open Arms Assembly of God. Muriel is survived by two sons, Carthel and wife Katherine Ballard, Don and wife Reba Ballard, all of Beebe; three daughters, Doris Hill, Wilma and husband Russell Perry of Beebe, Charlotte and husband Harley Powell of Jacksonville; two daughters-in-law, Sylveen Ballard of Beebe and Billie Ballard of Floyd; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren; and twenty-nine great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lewis Ballard, Jack Hefner, and George Kelley; three sons, Doyle, Gerald and Derald Ballard; grandson David Ballard; great-grandson Stephen Colby Ballard; son-in-law Rev. O'Neal Hill; and daughter-in-law, Teddene Ballard.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Open Arms Assembly of God. Funeral will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2012, at Open Arms Assembly of God, with burial at Sylvania Cemetery.
