Muriel Hollingshead, 71, of Amity died Thursday November 8, at St Josephs Hospital in Hot Springs. She was born July 26, 1936 in Amity. She was a schoolteacher in Glenwood and Memphis State University.
She is survived by her husband of 50 Yrs. Tom Hollingshead; one son Mark Hollingshead of Hot Springs; two daughters, Jennifer Bell & her husband David, of Hot Springs,AR, and Molly Young & her husband Danny of Amity; one brother Dallas Smith & his wife Wanda of El Dorado, AR; five grand children; four great grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be 6 - 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 9th at the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home, Arkadelphia.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 10, in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel, with interment in the Jones Cemetery in Amity. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. William J. Wright & Staff.
Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice of Hot Springs, AR.
