Msgt. Straessle,
Msgt. Jack J. Straessle Jr. USAF Retired, 78, of Little Rock passed away Saturday, March 27, 2010. He served 20 years in the United States Air Force and worked for over twenty years at AP&L. He was a devoted husband and father who recently became active in the Fraternal Order of Eagles, serving as Treasurer.
He was the husband of Pati, father of Jack III and Wayne of TX; Michael (Mary), Victor, Kathy (Dennis) Cranford, and Dianna of AR, stepfather of Daniel (Magan) and Romeo Rondeau III of TX. He was also survived by sisters, Ruth (Clarence) Metzger, Betty (Terry) Saugey, Theresa (Ray) Vogelpohl, Laurie Morris; and brother, Jerry (Donna) Straessle. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Straessle Sr.; mother, Betty Nutt Straessle; sister, Roberta Abruzzese; wife, Faye Straessle; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the F.O.E. Arkansas State Project: Arkansas Children's Hospital, Diabetes Research.
Rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service. Cremation service provided by North Little Rock Funeral Home. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
