Mrs. Loretta Cupples
Loretta Jung Cupples, 96, of North Little Rock, died on Saturday, August 29, 2009. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, and a member of St. Edwards Mother's Sodality.
She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Ira L. Cupples, her son, Leland J. Cupples, and ten siblings.
She is survived by her children, Carol Long and husband Joe of Dallas, Texas, Pat Stanger of North Little Rock, Bobbie McKenzie and husband Ron of North Little Rock, Tommy Cupples and wife Glenda of North Little Rock, and Kathy King and husband Steve of Atlanta, Georgia; 8 grandsons, Steven Cupples, Michael Cupples, Scott and Greg Stanger, Mark, Jeff, and Allan McKenzie, and Jonathan King; 10 granddaughters, Sharon Wicker, Tracy Alvarez, Terri Morgan, Sherri Long, Shannon Callahan, Erin Stanger, Chelle McCarroll, Jennifer Compton, Laura Wilson, and Tinika Lloyd; 31 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Katherine Willcox of Hot Springs.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at St. Edwards Catholic Church, with Msgr. John O'Donnell officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 6:30 P.M. Monday, with a Rosary service following at 6:30 P.M. at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Edwards Catholic Church, 801 Sherman Street, Little Rock, Arkansas, 72202.
