Mrs. Lois Byrd
Lois Ramsey Goucher Byrd, 87, of North Little Rock, passed away Friday, September 2, 2011. She was born August 24, 1924 in Cherry Valley, Arkansas to the late Bill and Effie Mae Layman Ramsey.
She is survived by her sister, Doris Muncy of Perryville; son, James Larry Goucher of North Little Rock; grandchildren, Byron Scott Goucher of Hernando, Mississippi, Angela Marie Goucher-Welborn of Piggott and James Thomas Goucher of Maumelle; great-grandchildren, Ellen, Hannah, Erin, Ryan, Joshua, Caleb, Abigail, Emma, Gabriel, Alex and Josie Claire; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded by her husbands, James Albert Goucher and Hal Byrd; sisters, Audrey Hand, Velva Henshaw and Thelma Williams; brothers, Joe Ramsey, L.V. Ramsey and Frank Ramsey.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel, 1921 Main, 758-1170. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. in the Farm Hill Cemetery, Harrisburg, Arkansas. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the Funeral Home. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
