Mrs. Barbara Anne Chafton

Barbara Anne “Bobbie” Chafton, of Conway, Arkansas, died unexpectedly Sunday, September 22, 2019, at Conway Baptist Medical Center. Bobbie was 47 years old.

Bobbie is survived by her husband of 23 ½ years, David William Chafton, Sr.; her son, Dillon Robert Chafton; mother, Martha Chase; father, Charles Robert Painter; sisters, Susan Zook, Sherry Gipson, and Amy Edlich; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Dalton Russell Chafton.

Bobbie will be most remembered as devoted mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend. She was pursuing a career in social work and was passionately devoted to improving the lives of children. Bobbie loved life and was generous with her time and talents with her family and friends. She was scheduled to graduate from the University of Central Arkansas with a double major in Social Work and Special Education in a few short weeks.

A memory/memorial service will be held Saturday, September 28th at 2:00pm at the Griffin Leggett Conway Chapel. Bobbie’s wish to be interred at Crest Lawn Memorial Park with her son Dalton as her final resting place will be fulfilled.
