Mr. Oscar Cotten

Oscar George Cotten, 87, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday May 18, 2010 in Austin, TX. He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II and worked for 31 years for the Missouri-Pacific Railroad. He was an avid sportsman and gardener. He loved the outdoors, dancing, and his children.
He is survived by his two daughters, Mary Dee Danchenko Stout and husband, Steve, and Dianne Cotten; two grandsons, Justin and Joshua Murphy, all of Austin, Texas. He also leaves behind a wife, Velma Ruth Cotten. He was a friend to all and will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary Sophronia (Baker) Cotten; and seven brothers and sisters.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday at Edgewood Memorial Park, North Little Rock. Arrangements are by North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
