Mr. Norman Ray

Norman Ray Dye was borne on the wings of Angels to his heavenly home on Friday the 25th of June. He was a retired Navy Veteran that served in Vietnam and was a member of Sherwood First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Emma Baker Dye, of North Little Rock; mother, Velma Dye Waymire, and stepfather, Floyd Jerrel Waymire, both of Sherwood; stepson, Kendtrix Edmondson, of Little Rock; granddaughter, Nadia McKoy Edmondson, of Georgia; two brothers, William Richard Dye and wife, Nancy, of Weatherford, TX, and James David Dye, of Benton; stepbrother, Steve Waymire; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, William S. Dye.
Funeral Services will be held 12:30 p.m., Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
