Mr. George Venable

George "Cotton" Wade Venable, 73, of Little Rock went to be with the lord on August 22nd, 2009. Cotton was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved to tell tales of his hunting trips.
Cotton is survived by five brothers, Ray and Maria, Billy and Martha, Michael, and Joann, Tommy and Linda, and Pete Venable; five sisters, Joyce Scott, Carolyn Reese, Betty Ann and Bob Smithwick, Debbie and Donnie Holdcraft, and Sandy and Danny Victory. Cotton was preceded in death by his parents J.W. and Amanda Venable; his first wife, Ruthie; and his second wife, Betty.
A special thank you to Dr. Sneed and all the staff at the Arkansas Oncology for the special care they gave our brother.
Funeral serviced will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Johnston Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 PM, Monday at the funeral home, 1921 Main St. 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
