Donald A. McNair, 65, of North Little Rock arrived in heaven Saturday, October 23, 2010. He was born in Scott, Arkansas on December 21, 1944 to the late Walter and Lina Fleming McNair. He was a member of Scott United Pentecostal Church and was a retired self-employed bricklayer. Donald was an avid coon hunter and chuck wagon racer, and he was a fast pitch softball pitcher in his youth.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Leo; two sisters, Helen and Lalafay; and one nephew, Kenny Wayne. He is survived by his son, Brian Allen McNair (Mona); two grandchildren, Brianna and Rachel; two brothers, Bill (Sammie) and Louis (Jannette); two sisters, Ida (Bill) and Sue (Joe); and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family wishes to say a special "thank you" to the doctors and nurses at Arkansas Hospice.
