Mr. Bobby Dempsey

Bobby O. "Jerl" Dempsey, age 62, of McRae went to be with the Lord on Saturday September 19, 2009. He was a lifelong Baptist. He was preceded in death by his father Smith Dempsey, his mother Ruby Dempsey, his brothers Edward Dempsey, Earl "Mickey" Dempsey, and his sister Velma Dempsey. He is survived by his wife of 42 years Linda Dempsey, a son David Dempsey of the home, a daughter Chrissy Dempsey of the home, a son Bobby S. Dempsey of Rogers, two daughters Lisa (Darren) Edwards of Ward and Teresa (Mike) Reid of McRae, four grandchildren, one sister Ruby (Bryant) Allen of Jacksonville, one brother Jimmie (Gloria) Dempsey of North Little Rock, and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Sunday September 20 from 3-5 pm at Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 DeWitt Henry Drive, in Beebe, AR. Service will be Monday September 21 at 2 pm at Westbrook Funeral Home officiated by Bro. Raymond Jackson. Burial to follow at Mountain Springs Cemetery.
