Frank Brannan, Jr. age 83, went home to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 1, 2024. His wife of 64 years and his family were with him in his home.
Frank was born in Indianola, Ok on July 6, 1940 to Frank and Oga Brannan. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Oga, and his brother Bob. A nephew, Robert Brannan, also precedes him.
Frank is survived by his wife of 64 years, Esther Brannan. His youngest brother, Billy Alva also survives. He is survived by his children, Mark (Dana), Susan Milum (Clint) all of Conway, three grandchildren, Lael Milum, Morgan Wilkerson (Phillip) and Mitchell Brannan. Frank is survived by four great grandchildren, Josie Milum; Leah Beth, Haley and Lainey Wilkerson and nephews Chris and Todd Brannan of Conway. His four-legged friend, Jessie dog survives.
Frank was a lifelong member of Conway's First Baptist Church and for the past several years a member of Life 10 Sunday School Class. He was a devoted husband and father. A loyal and dedicated family member who was forever looking out for all. He wanted to 'take care' of his family. He was a loyal Razorback fan regardless of how good or bad they played. Frank and Esther married young and went to work at the family business, Frank Brannan and Sons, Inc. in 1960. Frank loved his work, but especially his customers. He was a tease as well as a serious boss.
The family will receive friends/family on Saturday, April 6 at Conway's First Baptist Church at 11:30 with the service following at 1:00. Dr. Erik Wofford will officiate. A graveside service with military honors will be held at Crestlawn cemetery at 2:30. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Faulkner County Library in Conway or your favorite charity.
