Dr. Morton C. Wilson, 89, of Little Rock, passed away August 26, 2010. Born in Yonkers, New York to Soloman and Eva Schwab Wilson and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, he graduated from Harvard University in 1943 and from Medical School at the University of Virginia. In 1953 he moved to Ft. Smith where he practiced urology until 2001. He was a member of the American and Arkansas Medical Associations, the American Urologic Association and the Ft. Smith Rotary. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of Congregation B'nai Israel.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Jannell Dillon Wilson; son, Dr. J. Michael Wilson and wife, Margaret of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; daughter, Kristi Wilson of Little Rock; grandchildren, Aaron Nathaniel Wilson and Jonah Wilson, also of Milwaukee; and mother-in-law, Grace Kelly of Sherwood. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Dr. Norman Wilson and Dr. Carl Wilson, both practicing urologists.
Services will be held Sunday afternoon, August 29 at 2:00 p.m. at Temple B'Nai Israel, officiated by Rabbi Eugene Levy. Memorials may be made to Temple B'Nai Israel's Rabbi Discretionary Fund, 3700 N. Rodney Parham, Little Rock, AR 72212.
