Monika Christine Mazeika

Monika Mazeika, age 76, of Little Rock passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022. She was born May 4, 1946 in Bad Aussee, Austria to Josef and Stefanie Müllner.

Monika Mazeika grew up in Austria. She lived and worked in Germany for 16 years before marrying her husband, Robert, in England in 1978. They moved to Iran, but less than a year later made Little Rock their home in the fall of 1979. Monika was a passionate bingo player, animal lover, a loyal and compassionate friend to many. Her starring role was as a doting grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Josef Müllner. She is survived by her husband, Robert Mazeika of Little Rock; sister, Irmgard Strobel (Klaus) of Linz, Austria; two children, Martina Pierini (Jacques) of Maumelle and Andreas Müllner (Adriane) of Weerberg, Austria; five grandchildren Marco, Mirelle, Sabrina, Juliane, Daniel; three great-grandchildren; and niece, Sigrid.

Funeral service will be Saturday, November 26, at 3 p.m. at Smith Family Funeral Home in North Little Rock, 1921 Main St., North Little Rock, AR 72114. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Little Rock Compassion Center.
